Nasty Glasses

Some days, when I notice that my difficulty seeing something is caused by how smeared and dirty my glasses are, I wonder how many people noticed the nastiness without letting me know.

Some days, my difficulty discerning what the Spirit is trying to say to me is made difficult by my distractions or anger or any number of other mistakes listed in Galatians 5:19-21. The improvement of my ability to hear Him comes not from cleaning my glasses, but from manifesting the fruit of His Spirit: Galatians 5:22-23.
