Without regard for what your flesh would like to torment you into believing, you are not alone.

Although there are reasons to be sad on days, there is no excuse for staying sad.

What happens to you is never as important as your response. People who bump through life in defeat and despair are not likely responding to their past or current events with the expectation that their God is working all things together for their good. In Paul’s declaration along that line, he pointed out that that access to that truth is made through the doors labeled “called into the purposes of God,” and “in love with God” (Romans 8:28).

Churchill gave advice that sounded something like, “If you are going through problems, don’t stop going until you get through them.”
