Stop Replacing the Devil

Lucifer once had duties at the throne of Yahweh. John saw in the Revelation of Jesus that he was shown (chapter 12) that there was, or will be, a great war in Heaven, and the devil and his messengers fought with Michael and his messengers, and Lucifer was thrown out of Heaven with his messengers. He was called “the accuser of the brothers” in that passage.

Some think that he still has access to Heaven as the accuser of the brothers and sisters of Jesus. Whether he still does or not may not matter. There are so many brothers and sisters accusing each other in “prayer” that the accuser’s ministry at the throne has been multiplied whether he ever shows up for work or not.

We could do more effective work as intercessors in that valuable position we have before the throne.
