Prepared, Then Established
God wanted to make known to those among the Gentiles the glorious wealth of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. We proclaim Him, warning and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone mature in Christ.

So if you have been raised with the Messiah, seek what is above, where the Messiah is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on what is above, not on what is on the earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with the Messiah in God. When the Messiah, who is your life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.
(Colossians 3:1-4 HCSB ©®)
Samuel anointed David as king of Israel one day. It was many years before David received the related crown. He got the job long before he got the keys and the paycheck.
Some things you have been called to be and do may still seem impossibly out of your reach. David needed to finish his preparation from the sheep and then receive his preparation from Saul before his life could emerge from hiddenness and be established in the throne. If you are still in preparation for your calling, don’t sleep in class. It takes longer when you don’t cooperate with the Spirit.
Be prepared. Be established. Be awesome.
