Prepared by the King

When international calamity came upon Egypt, one of the most pagan empires on the planet at the time, Yahweh gave revelation for protection to His people by the prophet He had prepared for that work: Joseph. Israel was given protection and provision supernaturally in Goshen, in Egypt.

When Rome was angry with Israel in 70 AD, Jesus had prophesied that the destruction was coming, but gave revelation to His family about how to identify the time and instruction regarding leaving Jerusalem and being saved and provided for. No believers were in Jerusalem when Rome destroyed it.

Your Father loves you and intends to lead you to be successful in the rest of the purpose He has laid out ahead of you in your life. That success will more likely happen because you learn even better to listen to and gain Life from every word that proceeds from His mouth to you and over you than it is to happen because you bought enough toilet paper and canned food just in time.

In my worldview, I expect it to be more likely that my God would make 5 cans of food last 5 people 5 months than that He made me clever enough to buy the right amount of extra food ahead of time. He could do one for one household and another for another, though. He likes to invade earth with the powers of the age to come.

Don’t worry. Listen. Obey. Be awesome. Jesus is planning to.
