Apache Pilots

I once had a friend who believed that, because he had a high score on his computer game in which he could fly an Apache helicopter, he was capable of flying an Apache helicopter.

This is how we have come to know love: He laid down His life for us. We should also lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has this world’s goods and sees his brother in need but shuts off his compassion from him—how can God’s love reside in him?

Little children, we must not love in word or speech, but in deed and truth; that is how we will know we are of the truth, and will convince our hearts in His presence, because if our hearts condemn us, God is greater than our hearts and knows all things.

I say then, walk by the Spirit and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.
Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, we must also follow the Spirit.
(Galatians 5:16,24-25 HCSB ©®)

Just knowing that we should show the love of Jesus everywhere we go is good, but until it gets real, we are just proud of our video game score. When you get accused of evil by someone whom you agape, when you get left behind by your team, when you get trapped by someone you thought had agape for you, when you walk in a room and everyone snickers, but no one will tell you why, and you respond with agape, you have graduated from game to life.

Be really awesome!
