With Whom do you Pray?

All believers are called to a life of prayer. That is not saying that everyone is called to a ministry of prayer – though some are. A person whose spiritual gift is faith, prophet, intercession, or knowledge could find great work they may be able to accomplish in prayer.

Without regard for what your gift and work are, your communication with the Spirit of Jesus is your connection to the Head of the body, and it is your source of strength, direction, correction, the ability to manifest the fruit of the Spirit, and the ability to be properly aligned with the rest of the body of Jesus. Breathe in: listen to the Spirit of Jesus; breathe out: speak to Jesus, His people, His creation, or to unbelievers. The power that unity adds to spiritual activities is that it multiplies their effects. If you are not currently praying with someone frequently, you are quite likely missing something on the above lists of benefits. If you can’t find someone to pray with, let me know. It’s important!
