Inheriting Possessions

Psalm 37 is a wealth of proverbs contrasting evil behavior to righteousness. Several times it promises that patient humility will cause land and wealth to be handed over to a servant of Yahweh.

The first benefit, though, is that we possess our own souls. Our minds and hearts become ours, freed to be gifted to our Lord.
