Proving You’re Approved

For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is no Jew or Greek, slave or free, male or female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, heirs according to the promise. Now I say that as long as the heir is a child, he differs in no way from a slave, though he is the owner of everything. Instead, he is under guardians and stewards until the time set by his father.

Sixteen year olds wish they were twenty. They do not value the further preparation they need to be twenty and do it well.

Soldiers in a fire fight, pinned down by enemy fire, wish they had been better prepared by the time they could have spent studying warfare or studying their enemy.

Forty year olds wish they were thirty. The preparation they received in the previous decade could make them much better at being thirty than they were when they were thirty.

The blood of Jesus has changed your value to “Approved.” Study now, to live as one who is approved. Spend resources to make yourself better at being who Yahweh says you are. His perception is not just opinion. It is truth. Find His desire and walk in it.
