The Kingdom is Not Boring

I have been asked by a surprising number of people lately if they should feel guilty for thinking that the church meetings they have been attending are boring. I have never had anyone declare to me that the Kingdom of Heaven is boring. It’s a free call: 1-800-getaclue. Call now, while the lines are still open…

The Kingdom is the work of the King in the earth.

The Kingdom is the work of the servants of the King in the earth.

The signs that the Kingdom had come that Jesus reminded John about are blind receiving sight, lame walking, healing of diseases, deaf hearing, dead living, and poor becoming informed of truth.

When John was in prison, and heard that Jesus was spending time with publicans, prostitutes, and pharisees, John was worried, because this was not good synagogue behavior. He sent word to Jesus to ask if he had been wrong by identifying Jesus as the King. Too much not boring stuff was going on…

Don’t leave the synagogue if you have a ministry to Jesus there. But don’t get synagogue confused with the Dominion of the King of Glory.

When Jesus had finished giving orders to His 12 disciples, He moved on from there to teach and preach in their towns. When John heard in prison what the Messiah was doing, he sent a message by his disciples and asked Him, “Are You the One who is to come, or should we expect someone else?”
Jesus replied to them, “Go and report to John what you hear and see: the blind see, the lame walk, those with skin diseases are healed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor are told the good news. And if anyone is not offended because of Me, he is blessed.”
