The Kingdom First

This good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed in all the world as a testimony to all nations. And then the end will come.
(Matthew 24:14 HCSB ©®)

Then Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
(Matthew 28:18-20 HCSB ©®)

The Good News (“gospel”) of salvation is that we don’t have to pay for our sins in the lake of fire.

The Good News of the Kingdom is that the only King Who is worthy to have as a Leader is Jesus, and that our lives can have purpose and value when we obey Him.

How would things be different if we preached the Kingdom and then salvation? Purpose first, then forgiveness?
