Awesome Scribes

Jesus told His disciples, “Every student of Scripture (‘scribe’) who becomes a disciple of the Kingdom of Heaven is like a homeowner who brings new things and old things out of his storage.” (Matthew 13:52)

We need to know the law, but find our discipline in the King’s instruction, both by what He caused to be written, and by what His Spirit says to us each day. Learn the Law; ask the Spirit. Be obedient. Be successful in righteousness.
