Faith Really Works

When we learn that faith is a fruit of the Spirit of Jesus and not just a desire to believe something, we have opened a Door through which we can access Heaven’s resources and give Heaven’s purposes access to the earth. By faith, believing is not just wishing something will prove true. By faith, things become true, or things that are true become realized. None of this is rational.

Peace that calms or comforts or empowers us that is a fruit of the Spirit of Jesus is a supernatural work of His Spirit in our lives. At times it is accessible, at other times it seems to be out of our reach. Joy, agape, patience, self-control, all of it is His power manifesting in our surrender to Him.

Part of the process of prayer must always be surrender. Our feelings, our agendas, our fears, our pride, our futures – everything must be under His desire and instruction if we expect to be at our best regarding being His servants in the earth in these days. Even when we cannot answer our critics’ questions or accusations, we must be led by the Spirit if we are to be successful in His Kingdom.

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Now, my brothers, I myself am convinced about you that you also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, and able to instruct one another.
