Parts Filled With Power

Atoms and molecules have tiny parts that are drawn together by a design that takes their intrinsic natures and abilities and knits them together to build something. They don’t think about what they would like to do and look for an opportunity to real-ize their dreams. They are inescapably drawn into function.

Church is a human institution that was miscreated by the misdirection of two kings – Constantine and James the First of England. Ekklesia is a gathering of believers by the Spirit of the King of the Kingdom of Heaven. Ekklesia is what Jesus told His disciples He was going to build (Matthew 16:18). James the First instructed the men he employed to make an English translation of the Hebrew and Greek Scriptures to change the word Jesus used (ekklesia) by mis-translating it “church.”

I have been believing for years that when Jesus looks at His body of believers in the earth, He sees relationships out of which work in His Kingdom is produced as the connections in it. Relationships in which there is trust, the freedom to confront and be confronted, and from which work under His leadership happens. Emphasis on “under His leadership.” Every congregation of the church I have drawn close to wanted me to help them with their work. I looked dedicated or had skills, and therefore I was a potential resource for their programs. No interest in my calling or spiritual gift. Just help running the programs machine.

Ekklesia experiences a drawing of a few people like the drawing of an electron and a proton, or of several atoms, and becomes a valuable bit of power. Even when there are just two or three, the Power Who can make them to become something effective is in their midst.
