Arise and Shine

When Yahweh judges a matter or a person or a nation or an organization, He is pronouncing what is righteous, and informing the judged regarding their alignment with that righteousness. If the judged has had their sins paid for by the blood of Jesus and are in Christ, there is no condemnation, even though there was guilt.

The matters related to consequences are more complex. Even they may not be condemnation, but education. His intention in the earth is redemption. If consequences draw us into obedience or relationship that redeem us from failure, they are valuable trades.

No matter what we have failed in, if our response is to cooperate with His response, we will grow in His likeness, and Christ will be formed in us. His presence in us is the hope of glory, not a promise of condemnation. Arise from every pit and shine.

Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord shines over you.
For look, darkness covers the earth,
and total darkness the peoples;
but the Lord will shine over you,
and His glory will appear over you.
