Servants, Sons and Daughters
In the Old Testament of the Book, angels are called “sons of God,” and humans are called “servants of God.” In the New Testament, angels are called “servants of God,” and believing humans are called “sons of God.” There are other shifts in angels’ relationships, with God and with us, that have and are and must yet take place. We need to be seeking fervently that we would get the agenda and walk in it.
There are people in the earth now who will get that agenda. Pray that they will get it accurately, that we and others will have faith to listen and follow the instructions of Yahweh as He orchestrates His rule in the earth through His Son and through His ekklesia – us.
Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God!”
And Jesus responded, “Simon son of Jonah, you are blessed because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter [Petros: a piece of rock], and on this rock [petra: a mass of rock] I will build My church [ekklesia: a group called out of another group with a purpose to accomplish], and the forces of Hades will not overpower it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth is already bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth is already loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16:16-19 Holman Christian Standard Bible ©®)
