Loving One Another
Most people getting married this month love each other before getting acquainted (eros – desire). Believers can love each other before getting acquainted (agape – sacrifice).
Most people (over half) getting married this month won’t love each other after becoming acquainted (eros – selfishness). Believers can love each other more after becoming acquainted, because they learn weaknesses and needs and ask the Spirit how to meet them (agape – Godliness). Eros is a love that likes people because they are desirable, and doesn’t love them if not. Agape is a love that makes sacrifices for people even if they are hateful or undesirable, because its source is the Spirit of Yahweh (Galatians 5:22-23).
About brotherly love: you don’t need me to write you because you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.
