The Correct Work
Even after having been followers of Jesus for years, our first inclinations are frequently to respond to others’ failures with accusation and condemnation instead of agape and intercession. We can’t know our own stupid failures without the Holy Spirit revealing them to us. How valuable is it when He additionally trusts us with the awareness that someone else has failed in some way?
Jesus was sent to bring salvation, not damnation. He said to our Father about us, “As You have sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world.” (John 17:18)
Do the right work. Just because we are good at tearing down buildings, doesn’t mean that it is good to waste time doing that when we know how to build them, too.
