A Generous Flow

One person gives freely,
yet gains more; another withholds what is right,
only to become poor.
A generous person will be enriched,
and the one who gives a drink of water
will receive water.
People will curse anyone who hoards grain,
but a blessing will come to the one who sells it.

Your generosity creates a flow into the earth that the people to whom you are generous can find to be bountiful. That flow erodes hindrances to the bounty that becomes available to you in your future.

In contrast, the more we pretend there is a scarcity of resources, the more scarce resources become.
