Knowing the Lord

No one who knows Yahweh can fail to boast on His righteousness and His love and His glory and His strength. Everything in heaven and earth will one day be summed up in His Son Jesus. Already, all things are summed up in Him prophetically. We can already see the Kingdom and by His hand in the earth we can see His righteousness and His love and His glory and His strength.

As Jesus told some Sadducees, “You are deceived, because you don’t know the Scriptures or the power of God.” (Matthew 22:29)

As He told some other Jews, “You don’t have His word living in you, because you don’t believe the One He sent. You pore over the Scriptures because you think you have eternal life in them, yet they testify about Me. And you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.” (John 5:38-40)

As we read the Book and listen to the Spirit, we are more and more exposed to and invited into the knowledge of Jesus in real ways, not just informational ways. Ask Him questions about Himself. Ask Him to teach you His ways and His Life.
