Parables of Two Sons

In the parable Jesus told about a man with two sons (Luke 15:11-31), by the end of the story, the wasteful, rebellious son was in the house, and the reliable, obedient son was outside.

In the parable Jesus told about another man with two sons (Matthew 21:28-32), He drew a similar point for the Pharisees He was teaching: the tax-collectors and the prostitutes Jesus was encountering were entering His Kingdom, but the religious rules-keepers were not.
