Cease, Love, Confront

Many people argue fiercely about their theological debate points. Many people fiercely accuse others of breaking the religious laws they have adopted. Many people have greater love for their rules and doctrines than they have for Jesus, and far more than they have for each other.

“I give you a new commandment: love one another. Just as I have loved you, you must also love one another. By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

We surely need to cease and to confront sin and other forms of stupidity. It will be more likely to be successful as we confront it in others after we first cease it in our lives, and second convince people that we love them more than rules and doctrines.
