Angel at the Pool
Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had.
(John 5:2-4 NKJV)
Angels are around to do things, not just be entertained by our silliness or annoyed by our slackness. The angels that are assigned to your life and work may be waiting on you to instruct them regarding help you need. They may have instructions for us, like they are recorded in Acts and the Gospels of doing on several occasions.
We may need to instruct them – we will judge them (1 Corinthians 6:1-3), and we will reveal our God’s many-fold wisdom to them (Ephesians 3:8-12). We have levels of revelation by the Spirit of God that they have questions about. The popular teachings that we are not qualified or authorized to interact with them, or that seeking to interact with them is worshiping them, are founded on fear and doubt.
The protocols related to how we are to interact with these fellow servants of our Father are still largely mysteries. Feel free to ask your God what He wants you to know about the matter. He likes revealing things to those He loves. Like you. When He starts sharing answers with you, share them with the rest of us.
