Proving Faith

Suppose we gathered with many leaders in our city: leaders of various versions of Christianity, of Muslims, false religions like Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses, and unbelievers. Suppose that we each took our turn sharing our lives with each other. Not our theologies, not our doctrines, but what we have experienced, and thereby, what we have verified from our beliefs and philosophies. What would you share? What have you been able so far to verify regarding your understanding of how life works and what is valuable in it? It is both natural and supernatural that we should constantly be able to gather evidence that what we believe about Jesus is true.

Then after speaking to them, the Lord Jesus was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word by the accompanying signs.
