Lord and the Harvest
Those who reject Jesus as King and as Savior should be provoking a response from those of us who receive Him as King and as Savior.
Our hearts should be injured at His rejection, because He is not just good, but He is worthy to be worshiped both as King and as Savior. Revelation of His wonderfulness as Redeemer should produce love for Him in our hearts. That love should produce obedience in our hearts and our works.
Our hearts should also be injured for the sake of the rejectors, too, though. They are not benefitting from the payment He made painfully by His death. His payment for them purchased abundant life, and eternal life, and life that could be lived in relationship with One Who loves them more than they can understand one being loved.
When our hearts are broken for both the nations and the One Who wants them as His inheritance, we will be worthy to bring that harvest into His storehouse. The harvest will be great.
