Kingdom Progress

The progressive steps in our relationship with the Kingdom of Heaven begin with being able to see it. As Jesus told Nicodemus, one must be reborn to see it (John 3:3).

Next, we begin to respond to the instructions we receive from the Lord, both in the Scriptures and by His Spirit. This is how we enter the Kingdom. Get in the flow of instructions from Heaven and obey (Matthew 7:21).

Inheritance is the next step. Parables like the Minas (Luke 19:11-27) and the Talents (Matthew 25:14-20) indicate that properly handling assigned responsibility gains the reward of authority, not just more responsibility. Paul pointed out that lack of repentance regarding strongholds and stupid activities can rob us from an inheritance (1 Corinthians 6:9-10; Galatians 5:19-21).
