Being Full of Courage
If that’s how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and thrown into the furnace tomorrow, won’t He do much more for you—you of little faith?
Matthew 6:30
But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, you of little faith?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea. And there was a great calm.
Matthew 8:26
But when he saw the strength of the wind, he was afraid. And beginning to sink he cried out, “Lord, save me!”
Immediately Jesus reached out His hand, caught hold of him, and said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?”
Matthew 14:30-31
And they discussed among themselves, “We didn’t bring any bread.”
Aware of this, Jesus said, “You of little faith! Why are you discussing among yourselves that you do not have bread?
Matthew 16:7-8
The 11 disciples traveled to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had directed them. When they saw Him, they worshiped, but some doubted. Then Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:16-20

Repeatedly, even after watching Jesus rise from the earth to the clouds, His most devoted and highest-ranking followers were described as not having much faith. Please let that encourage you to believe that even your faith is enough to do great things. Please – let that give you courage.
If you have the courage to step out with even small faith, you have found the place where your faith will work. Courage does not need a promise of success. It just needs instructions to obey. Ask Him to show you where your faith goes in the work and the battle. Then put it there. Even the faith comes from Him, so He knows what you need if you’re going to succeed.
