We Are Believers

We run to a fight if it will bring someone life. We run to loneliness if it will bring someone life. We run to a beggar if it will bring someone life. We are not afraid of questions we don’t have answers to. We are not afraid of someone being mad at our God. We are not afraid of unanswered prayer, or things not working out like we thought they would.

We have hope. Even when we don’t have hope, we have the Spirit Who raised Jesus from the dead drawing us to have hope. We are at liberty to love and have real peace and patience that is greater than what Job had.

We are like all that on days, anyway. On other days, we are ridiculous or bitter or fearful and a host of other things Jesus died to pay for and free us from. Today will be a good day. Hopefully.

Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Also through Him, we have obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also rejoice in our afflictions, because we know that affliction produces endurance, endurance produces proven character, and proven character produces hope. This hope does not disappoint, because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
