Being Like Yahweh

It was pretty tricky that satan misled Adam and Eve into believing that they would become like Yahweh if they ate from the tree of death.

His tricks are just as easy to spot most of the time today when you are familiar enough with what Yahweh has said. “Has He really said…” won’t work if you spend enough time in the Book. Add spending time in the Spirit to that, and you actually should be like God: by eating of the Tree of Life.

Taste and see that He is good. He only does wondrous things. He is righteous in all His ways. His lovingkindness toward us never fails. He is a Judge, a King, a Priest, and a Giver of Life. You were born of Him, and the seed of Who He is in you. When we see Him, we will see that we are like Him.

May grace and peace be multiplied to you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
For His divine power has given us everything required for life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness. By these He has given us very great and precious promises, so that through them you may share in the divine nature, escaping the corruption that is in the world because of evil desires. For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with goodness, goodness with knowledge, knowledge with self-control, self-control with endurance, endurance with godliness, godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they will keep you from being useless or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
