Blood, Warm and Cold
Cold blood
A lizard is very susceptible to the influences of its environment. If the temperature around it is hot, it can move faster than I can watch. If the temperature is cold, it slows down, and at a certain temperature simply can’t move.
Warm blood
Mammals have body temperature controls that enable them to cool off if their environment becomes hot, and to maintain heat if their surroundings become cold. Even we have limits at which extreme heat or cold will kill us, but our bodies work to maintain a certain temperature.
Our spirits are able to maintain stability in our environments by the Life in Christ Jesus imparted to us by His Spirit. We have the strength in Him to change our environments and to influence the environments of others.
For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness”—He has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of God’s glory in the face of Jesus Christ.
Now we have this treasure in clay jars, so that this extraordinary power may be from God and not from us. We are pressured in every way but not crushed; we are perplexed but not in despair; we are persecuted but not abandoned; we are struck down but not destroyed. We always carry the death of Jesus in our body, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.

We are peer pressure.
