Bearing Peace

The storm Mark mentioned in chapter 4 of his news was set at peace because Jesus was at peace. When Luke recorded Jesus’ sending on mission of the 70 disciples in chapter 10, he said that Jesus instructed them to have peace, to prophesy that peace over a household, and if their peace was not accepted, it would return to them. Our peace is a manifestation of His peace (Galatians 5:22-23).

If we are going to have the same strength of peace that He had and that He instructed His disciples to have, it should be as close and difficult to lose as body odor. Be filled with it. Be clothed in it. Be an always fresh diffuser of the aroma of His peace (2 Corinthians 2:14).
