Being Witnesses

I will fervently thank the Lord with my mouth;
I will praise Him in the presence of many.
For He stands at the right hand of the needy,
to save him from those who would condemn him.

(Psalm 109:30-31 Holman Christian Standard Bible ©®)

Many needy people are around us when we interact with the world. They have emotional needs, financial, spiritual, informational – every type of need. Their needs frequently make them annoying. Especially if we make eye contact with them or speak to them, indicating that we have the capacity to care.

When we encounter the neediest ones, and we bring attention to their cases to our King, are we witnesses for their defense, or for their prosecution? Are we only witnesses for their defense seven times, and then grow weary of well doing (Matthew 18:22)?

We are reconciling the earth and its people to the One Who paid their ransom.
