Proximity of Blessing

Delayed hope makes the heart sick,
but fulfilled desire is a tree of life.

The closer we are to the hour of meeting with a friend, or ending a troublesome project, the more our hearts are able to find joy or peace. The longer we must wait, the greater the pain or trouble. By faith, we can live in the place of satisfaction of both need and longings. The fruit of the Spirit of our God can bear in our hearts and minds the same strength of joy at the beginning of a project as we have naturally at its completion. We can experience very truly at the time of our request for healing or provision that we experience naturally when the answers are real-ized.

Our proximity to Him provides us with such a proximity to eternity that we can experience the fulfillment of all things in Him at any moment. He is the Tree of Life we can experience anytime we will it.
