Led Fearfully

Who is the person who fears the Lord?
He will show him the way he should choose.
He will live a good life,
and his descendants will inherit the land.
The secret counsel of the Lord
is for those who fear Him,
and He reveals His covenant to them.
My eyes are always on the Lord,
for He will pull my feet out of the net.

If you walk in your own way, you cannot succeed at anything of eternal value.
If you walk in the way Yahweh has ordained for you, you cannot fail to produce eternally valuable results.
Even if you cannot currently verify His guidance as the source of your walk, expect Him to lead and correct and encourage you. If you are looking for His hand, you will see it.

Much of what is called Christianity in our times has much knowledge of, but no acquaintance with, the Living God. The expectation of being led even in a general, distant way seems to most to be superstition. According to the testimony of the Testaments, however, it is very normal. Ask your Father for very specific guidance. Agree with Him that it is a great idea of His that you be led in righteousness and Life.

All those led by God’s Spirit are God’s sons. For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father!” The Spirit Himself testifies together with our spirit that we are God’s children, and if children, also heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ—seeing that we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.
