Expecting Yahweh

As we mature, we subject more and more of our lives and our stuff to the reign of Christ over it. If you take a 20 minute trip in your vehicle, constantly worried about whether your worn out tires are going to pop, you will be more exhausted than if you took a 2 hour trip during which you were anticipating seeing your friend the whole time.

The more we focus on purpose and the power of our God to make us succeed at it, rather than worrying about all the things that could prevent it, the more strength we will have to succeed at it. I am not just talking about things that could go wrong, but also things that already have gone wrong. The tire that has already popped, the broken faucet, the washer or refrigerator that has stopped working, the sickness…

Expecting to be shown the way of success increases both the likelihood that it will appear, and that we will see it. Be awesome. Expect Yahweh to be awesome!
