Glad for Mercy
The more we learn to thank the Holy Spirit when He points out a failure or sin and offers correction, the less we take offense when He uses a brother or sister to do it because we weren’t listening to Him.
We have really come to live in a blessed place when, after not grasping that He is speaking to us on a subject, and not hearing His voice in the voice of someone who loves us as He next sends them offering the correction, but when, finally, He has sent someone to us who hates us to bring His correction or direction, we can thank Him for His mercy even in that.
