Disillusioned

We shouldn’t be disillusioned after we try something. We should take care of that ahead of time. The likelihood of anything good coming into the earth through us is minuscule. Our relationship and proximity to the Holy Spirit are what break through the illusion that we are really doing anything when He makes us awesome.

When He meets someone’s need through our service it can create the illusion that we are more than we are. When we simply show up, expecting Him to show up also, our co-operation with His presence can do wonders. On other days, we simply come to Him afterwards asking, “Why couldn’t we cast it out (or whatever other thing it was that didn’t happen)?”

Be present. Expect awesome. Be awesome. Don’t be disillusioned.
