Bearing Much Fruit

One day, we will stand before Jesus, Who will be seated as a Judge. In Revelation 20:11-12, John saw that day in the spirit. Every dead person was judged according to records of their works, which were recorded in books. Based on Jesus’ story about a man who gave his servants measures of value while he was off in another country, it is easy for me to presume that part of that judgement will include the works that were left undone, too.

Laziness and fear that we submit to in these days will be costly on that day. Faith from the Holy Spirit and boldness will be valuable in that day and forever. We have not been saved by works, but we were saved for works, and they are laid out ahead of us. Listen to the Spirit of the Shepherd as He leads you to walk in them (Ephesians 2:4-10).
