Drawing the Right Lines

There is a place for variety of culture in the ekklesia of Christ (the songs we sing, the clothing or costumes we wear), but no place for class (rich, poor; high, low; important, unimportant).

There is a place for authority and responsibility in the ekklesia of Christ (the Spiritual gift of administration, the responsibility for leadership that is related to revelation and love), but no place for lords (only servants; the greatest leader is the one who serves everyone).

There is a place for tribes (groups who have similar assignments, spiritual ancestors, or resources), but no place for races (we have one Father).

I, therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, urge you to walk worthy of the calling you have received, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, accepting one another in love, diligently keeping the unity of the Spirit with the peace that binds us. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope at your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.
